iOS apps

All 3 live on the App Store

Built end to end. Idea, design, code, launch.

Outside the edit suite I design and build iOS apps on my own, with the same attention to light, sound and feel.

Retro Digicam

2000s digital cameras, rebuilt with physics.

A camera simulator, not a filter. Light is computed at the charge level of a virtual CCD sensor, so streetlight smear, highlight blooming and colour noise emerge from the real light in your scene. Six period cameras, each with working buttons, menus, sounds and a battery that runs flat.

  • 12-stage Metal CCD pipeline: smear, blooming, noise, 10-bit readout
  • Six cameras from 1999 to 2015, each a working object
  • Your engraved name seeds each camera's dead pixels and colour drift
  • Shutter lag, AF hunting, gyro hand-shake and per-camera haptics

Engine Simulator

Not a recording. Every combustion, computed.

A real-time engine simulator for iPhone and iPad. Crank, pistons, valves, combustion and exhaust flow are computed live, and that one simulation drives the sound, haptics, gauges and 3D view. Change the cylinder count, firing order or headers and the sound changes with it.

  • 11 engines, from a V-twin to a V16
  • Manual, dual-clutch, automatic and sequential gearboxes
  • Combustion and exhaust cutaway views
  • Rust physics core with a custom Metal renderer
  • Rust
  • Swift 6
  • SwiftUI

Long/Short Duel

Chart card battler

The chart is the battlefield.

A 90-second real-time card battle on a live, fictional candlestick chart. Go long or short, push the price with chart-pattern cards, and break the boss's liquidation line before it breaks yours. Nine coins to climb and real-time 1:1 duels.

  • 34 chart-pattern cards, judged at candle close
  • Bosses that telegraph their next move
  • Real-time 1:1 duels on deterministic lockstep netcode
  • Metal-rendered trading-terminal look, haptics on every card

Where AI meets sensory satisfaction.

An AI ASMR channel for generated visuals. Loops built for retention: texture, weight, light and one impossible moment per clip.

Camera first. Then the model.

I started with a camera before I could drive. Stop-motion in elementary school, then years chasing the Milky Way across Korea through storms and blizzards, then a degree in Photography, Film & Media at Shingu University.

From May 2025 to September 2026 I worked as an AI artist at Studio Freewillusion. I built shots for a theatrical AI feature, a zombie sequence for a feature film and previz for an AI feature, inside a video-to-video pipeline where every frame had to hold up on a cinema screen.

On the side I run Oddly Satisfying Lab, an AI ASMR channel that has passed 30 million views. The camera background is what keeps the AI work honest: I direct generated footage the way I would direct a lens.

Lately I build iOS apps end to end. CANY, RevLab and Long/Short Duel are all on the App Store. Different medium, same instinct: make it feel right in the hand.

Once I'm hooked, I don't stop.
